DGM projects have become winners of the federal phase of the Russian General Scientific and Practical Competition " Estaféta Vuzovas Science - 2017 " .
The Estaphate of Vozov Science, launched last September, is a multi-phase project aimed at promoting the Strategy for the Development of Medical Science in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025 and the programme for the development of a map of Russian science in the medical field. Scientific and pedagogical workers, research teams, scientific and educational organizations dealing with medicine have become participants.
In Russia, this major event is held annually and aims to support leading scientific groups working in the priority areas of health science. The topics of the projects presented at the competition are focused on the creation of high-technology innovative products that preserve and promote the health of the country ' s population. The competition was conducted on several thematic scientific platforms.
The regional stage of the relays took place from 27 September to 4 December 2016 and the winners of the federal phase were identified at the end of December.
Twenty nominations were submitted from the Dagestan State Medical University for the competition: " Prospective innovation " , " Best research work " . Seven projects were completed in the final year and became winners of the federal phase:
Aliyeva Aminat Isagaevna (the cafeteria of microbiology, virology and immunology of DGM) in the nominating of the Immunology scientific platform with the project " Climate-microbiological and immunological aspects of neonatal pneumonia diagnostics " .
