Microbiology And Immunology For Dentists
ON THE SPECIAL PREVENTION OF MOBIOLOGY, VIRUSOLOGY AND IMMULOLOGY FOR THE TOMATOLOGICAL FACULTE OF THE AGREEMENT
With the introduction of a new multi-level system of health education, the quality of microbiology and immunology teaching is also of particular importance, as is the case with other fundamental and clinical disciplines, which should be regulated by improved curricula adapted to the new health education system. Microbiology is at the juncture of fundamental theoretical and clinical disciplines, and immunology refers to general medicine. It is therefore necessary for every doctor, regardless of his/her specialty.
In recent years, there has been an increase in dentists ' interest in basic pathologies, including medical microbiology and clinical immunology. Diagnostic pathways in dental practices and the introduction of microbiology and immunology in diagnostics, prevention and treatment of dental diseases are under way.
In addition to the undeniable achievements in the fight against common dental diseases - cariece, password, ordontogenic infection, dental remains a number of acute and difficult problems that can be overcome through microbiology and immunology.
In the OGMA, students from the dental faculty at the cafeteria of microbiology are undergoing a three-phase training process, with a continuum of two to four courses. Accordingly, each of these stages requires special training. In the second to third course (4-5 semester), students acquire knowledge of bacteriology, micrology, protozoology and immunology, with the prioritization of the programme (lection material 28 hours, practical 64). For the 6th semester dentists study microbiology of mouth density (lection course 12, practical course 26). The microwave of the mouth is very diverse and complex to study. Undoubtedly, the prevalence of anaerobic respiratory microbes requires special conditions for the cultivation and identification of these micro-organisms. The latter makes it very difficult to diagnose the diseases they cause and requires special training for dental doctors and dental technicians.
